with one area at a time

Set
a reasonable time limit for each organizing session (Do NOT
try to organize all at one - this will lead to instant anxiety
overload!)

Divide
your treasures (paper, files, clothes, dishes, etc) into the
following categories:
- Keep
- Donate
- trash
- undecided

Stick
with your reasonably timed daily organizing session (3-4 times/week)

Reward
yourself weekly for your efforts

Don't
be too hard on yourself (Rome wasn't built in a day!)

Consult
a professional organizer to kickstart your organizing
campaign.
